WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

We work exclusively in small handmade batches from our own studio, based in East London, UK. Our products are developed by Guy, from his passion of natural skincare and extensive years of formulating for his own use, alongside an award winning natural skincare chemist.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS? HOW SHOULD I STORE THEM?

We recommend using your products within 6 months of opening for maximum efficacy. Our products are made in small batches for maximum freshness, with a shelf life of around 2 years.
Light and heat can damage natural products, store your products in a cool, dry, dark environment. Refrigerated is ideal but not necessary, it also makes for a cooling sensory experience. Balms should be kept in conditions under 20c, in warmer temperatures please keep refrigerated.

In the event of your balm going soft, stir with a clean utensil and refrigerate for at least 5 hours, stirring 1 hour in. This will restore it to its proper consistency without any loss of effectiveness.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS NON-COMEDOGENIC AND SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES?

None of our products are highly comedogenic. We believe formulation is key over single ingredients comedogenic rating. Our products are formulated to be gentle enough for sensitive and problematic skin types. We recommend allowing up to 2 weeks to allow your skin to adapt to changes and see the transformational results.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC, AND WHY?

We formulate all our products with certified organic botanicals wherever possible, selecting them for their uncompromised nutrients, benefit to skin, and positive impact on the environment. The total percent of organic ingredients can be found on every product page, and on our packaging. In some cases we may use ingredients that are not certified organic, as they are from smaller farmers with exceptional production principals, yet no certification due to high cost.
The balm is more moisturising, with organic shea butter. The face oil has a lighter texture, with a higher concentration of active ingredients for a more direct application.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Orders will be sent out 1-2 business days from your date of purchase. Estimated standard delivery time to the UK is 1-2 business days once shipped. If you notice any delays or issues while tracking your package please contact the carrier for help. We are not able to provide additional insight on packages once they are en route.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES?

Due to the nature of our product we do not accept returns on used products. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please notify us of your return within 7 days of your order's receipt at info@guy-morgan.com. Our full returns policy can be found here.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN PRESERVATIVES?

Preservatives are a neccasery stage in skincare to deliver an effective and safe product. Our water based products contain safe amounts of well tested preservatives. Our water-free formulations, such as Dagger Rose Face Oil + Treatment Balm do not require preservatives, instead using botanical antioxidants, such as non-GMO Tocopherol (vitamin E oil).

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE DURING PREGNANCY/BREASTFEEDING?

All of our products are considered safe to use whilst pregnant / nursing, with essential oils used below regulated amounts. Many have enjoyed using our products whilst pregnant, but every pregnancy can be different - If you wish to consult beforehand with a physician, we can happily supply a complete ingredient list (INCI) including percentage of essential oils.

IS IT NORMAL TO SEE CHANGES IN PRODUCT COLOUR AND SMELL?

Our range is 100% natural, with minimal to no processing. Crops can yield variations over seasons, resulting in darker or lighter coloured ingredients. It is normal for sight variations in colour, working in small batches allows us to keep a consistent monitor of quality. IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE, DO YOU OFFER A REFILL PROGRAM?

Our outer packaging is 100% recyclable, using card made from 100% recycled coffee cups. Our mailing boxes and packaging materials are also fully recyclable, and plastic free. Dagger Rose Face Oil should be dissembled after use, the glass jar and plastic lid can be recycled, the glass tube and bulb should be put with your regular waste. Our jar lids are not currently recyclable, but this is an issue we’re looking to improve in the future. Currently we do not offer a refill program, but this is something we’re actively researching. Being a small independent brand we’ve had the amazing experience of building close relationships with our suppliers, to ensure ingredients meet our uncompromising standards, and ethics. Our ingredients are chosen for their effectiveness and high quality. The quality of life, pay, and treatment of the workers who grow and harvest our ingredients are of as equal importance to us.
